WTEN: Albany, New York News, Weather, Sports - Man shocked, burned after accident with crane

Police in East Greenbush are investigating a powerline worker who was shocked while working during the height of storms that rolled through Friday morning.
They say the 57-year-old from Vermont was on the ground near a crane when it became energized. The worker caught on fire and severely burned his lower body.
Police at this point do not know what caused the accident, the man was brought to Albany Medical Center with what were described as life threatening injuries.
