Posted:

PALATINE BRIDGE -- A National Grid employee was arrested Sunday for DWI while driving a company van.

According to a witness, Thomas Ott's vehicle left its lane on East Grand Street in the Village of Palatine Bridge. He crossed into oncoming traffic and then jumped a curb onto a lawn.

When police arrived, Ott was arrested and refused a breath test.

He faces multiple charges, and was released on his own recognizance.
