PROVIDENCE, N.Y. -- We have new details in the case of a beagle found duct-taped and dumped in the woods in Saratoga County.

The beagle, named Daisy, was found by hunter Ed Dandaraw near Providence on Sunday. She had been missing for two weeks.

Now she is back from the vet and recovering.

In new pictures sent to NEWS10 by Dandaraw, some marks can still be seen where her snout was duct taped shut. Otherwise she is doing well.

Her owner, who wishes to remain anonymous, says it was very emotional when he went to the vet to pick her up.

He says he can't believe someone could do such a thing to a dog.

When Daisy heals, she'll live with her owner's relatives for her safety.

Three new pictures of Daisy can been seen on NEWS10's fan page on Facebook. Click here to see the images.
