Glens Falls man arrested for collecting unemployment while working

GLENS FALLS, N.Y.-- A Glens Falls man was charged Tuesday with grand larceny for allegedly receiving more than $2,200 in unemployment benefits while working for a company in Guilderland, according to police.

31-year-old Ahmed F. Rauf-Nomaw, of Harrison Avenue, was arrested after an investigation by the State Department of Labor and Glens Falls Police.

Rauf-Nomaw was released, pending prosecution in City Court.
