World AIDS Day Activities:

 

Albany:

9am-7pm: 640 Individual panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, representing over 1200 names will be on display until December 3rd. Empire State Plaza Convention Center.

4pm-6pm: "A Night of Remembrance" hosted by the Ryan White HIV Care Network Of NENY.  Candlelight vigil in Meeting Room 6 of the Empire State Plaza.

 

Schenectady:

5pm-7pm: Schenectady Inner City Ministry hosts walk and reception to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS.  Begins at City Hall.

 

Troy:

6:30pm: HVCC Hosts event with Activist and Creator of the AIDS Memorial Quilt Cleve Jones.  Butler Telecommunications Center Auditorium.

 

Glens Falls:

6pm: Candlelight vigil begins in Glens Falls City Park with a program to follow at The Wood Theater.

 

Pittsfield, MA:

5:30pm: Candlelight Vigil to honor those living with HIV and AIDS.  Steps off from in front of the Family Court House at Bank Row.
