A Pittsfield, Massachusetts woman has been arrested after allegedly beating her wife. Police say Stephanie Lighten came home intoxicated on Tuesday and tried to use a syringe to inseminate her wife, Jennifer Lighten, with her brother's semen.

When Jennifer Lighten resisted, Stephanie Lighten became violent, throwing her on the couch and grabbing at her. After a brief struggle, Jennifer Lighten escaped in the couple's car. Stephanie Lighten chased after the car and told Jennifer to stop.

Police caught up with couple, arrested Stephanie and confiscated the semen and syringe.

Jennifer Lighten has declined to press attempted rape charges.
