Oathout Says Aretakis Took "Unacceptable Actions" Against Diocese

(posted: June 19th, 9:40pm) One of the men who says he was sexually abused by a priest cites "irreconcilable differences" as he parts ways with his high-profile lawyer. In court today, Curtis Oathout told a judge he wants a new attorney.

Oathout says Attorney John Aretakis has taken "unacceptable actions" in his lawsuit against the diocese. The judge granted Oathout's request.

Aretakis represents a number of alleged sex abuse victims.
